Koji Fermented Black Tea
Crafted from the leaves of old tea trees in Sera, Hiroshima, this unique black tea is fermented using koji, a traditional Japanese culture also used in sake production.
Unlike conventional black tea, which develops its flavor through oxidation, this tea undergoes koji fermentation, creating a deep, rich flavor with distinctive umami notes.
A unique expression of Hiroshima’s tea heritage and Japan’s traditional fermentation culture.
